Yeah, NFC South is looking like it'll be very competitive next year. The Falcons have a really solid team, the Panthers are hot, and the Buccaneers have plenty of talent in Winston, Evans, Martin, and a solid D. I also have the AFC West gonna be one of the toughest divisions, given how the Raiders are actually relevant and the Chargers will hopefully rebound from all those injuries. And of course you have the Broncos and Chiefs still hot. On the flip side I think the AFC North will be the laughingstock of the NFL... The Ravens don't have the talent, the Bengals lose some talent on D, the Steelers win the division at 9-7, and the Browns show a bit of improvement at 5-11... but they're still the Browns.
You must remember Steelers were without their QB and their backup QB for a large part of the season. Didnt Ben miss like 4 Games? And was injured and played in a few? And then his backup got injured when Ben did I think they are gunna win that division easily for the next few years.
Yeah they're easily the best team there. Maybe 9-7 next year is a bit of a stretch... Probably more like 11-5. It's just everyone else there is gonna suck, I think
Championship Weekend coming up... Woohoo! Broncos beat Pats 30-27, and Panthers beat Cardinals 31-20. My predictions
I am so glad the Patriots lost earlier... I hate that team with a fiery passion. Now, in a perfect world, the Broncos will lose in the Super Bowl too
I highly doubt it. Honestly I do. I'd love to, because I was rooting for the Cards and the Panthers beat the Cardinals but I still doubt it. The fact that the panthers flat out embarrassed both the Seahawks and the Cardinals honestly has me thinking they'll do the same to the Broncos.
Seahawks only lost by 7 points. Thats one score. We got embarrased in the first half but we embarrassed them in the second half.
Being embarrassed like that is still being embarrassed. The Panthers are a team known for poor second halfs, and Russel Wilson is a known clutch player, so yes, you made a comeback in the second half but if we're gauging it I think you'd have to agree that the way that the Panthers did the Seahawks in the first half was dirty.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Football_League_records_(individual)#Passing Sure, an argument can be made for Manning, but look at the stats for Marino, Favre, Brady (god I hate Brady) If he pulls off a win on February 7th, we'll see. Carolina defense is probably gonna slam Manning, but for now, I'm reluctant to say he's the GOAT.
Well this was quite the underwhelming Super Bowl. Mostly lame commercials, a mediocre halftime show, and a pretty slow defensive game... not my favorite one. As a Chargers fan, I am kind of trained to hate the broncos, but you know what they had a good team effort this year. Despite the fact that I am generally sick and tired of them winning, hats off to them here, they are a much more classy team than the Patriots in the end. Now let's have Peyton Manning retire and it will be a dream come true.
I liked the halftime show to be honest.... And both Defense's were over-powering the Offences. We all knew Manning wasnt going to be MVp throwing TD's all over the place, So it was down to whether the Panthers would be able to get their offence going, but the pass rushers of Miller and co. were just too powerful. Im suprised they didnt use cams legs more and that they only passed on 1st down twice. but im glad Manning got his second Super Bowl Ring, and goes out with style.
Cant believe Calvin Johnson is retiring from football, Hall of Famer? @ChargerBoltz5 @THCOOL @Jrg5978 @goblizz @a18greek18 Your thoughts.
While this is still shocking, it was expected sooner or later to be quite honest. I thought he would've lasted at least another 2 years or so but he is past his prime and its getting harder and harder to work against being double teamed every snap. The lions don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon and I don't think any good teams would really be interested in him so I guess it makes sense. Definitely a hall of famer in my opinion, no question about it. You don't get a nickname like "Megatron" for no reason
Yes. Probably the most prolific Lions WR ever, and put up great stats. His athleticism makes up for the fact that he never won a playoff game
