Someone stole your GOLD and IRON!? that means it was someone who was a member of the town, who probably mined through the maintenance tunnel which you accidentally hit when you were constructing your Vault, i saw the cobblestone in it and when i mined through it i found your vault, though i placed the cobblestone back. I'm going to go through the maintenance tunnel and other places to see if anything is different.

Just because the trap doors were open doesn't mean some random person stepped in and stole your gold and iron. It had to be someone from the town because of the fact that buttons can only be pressed, in a protected area, by members of the town. This deeply upsets me.

I placed a sign in your vault some time ago, perhaps a day, but i did not seize any of your items, and what i wrote on it is different from what that sign says.
