Grindstone doesn't give exp when removing enchants on rising anymore

Brief Description:
When removing enchantments from an item using a grindstone in the rising world, it does not yield exp anymore (it used to; I had a grindstone in my armory for that very reason)

@Supersize said it still drops exp in the mining world, but I have yet to test that (don't have an item I want to remove enchants from)

Instructions:
1.) Take an item with an enchantment & open a grindstone (or even /grindstone)
2.) Disenchant the item
3.) Get no exp

How many times did you recreate this?:
Many times with the items I was disenchanting

Result:
No exp

Expected Result:
I should get exp since we could in the past & there has been no announcement that that was removed

Evidence:
Did not screenshot or record when I was removing the items & have no more to remove atm

 

So before the 1.21.2 update, any exp that was dropped from a grindstone or from excavation MCMMO in the rising world was a bug? Because prior to 1.21.2, I was able to get exp in the rising world from both of these methods (and have been able to get it for years prior)

 

It’s not mcmmo. It’s actual Minecraft exp. Mcmmo excavation gives Minecraft exp orbs when excavating. That and grindstone exp orbs do not drop on rising anymore, and they used to for many years prior

 

Okay so that is a recent change. Got it.

I reported this because, up until less than a few weeks ago, the exp dropped in rising from both methods. I understand now that it seemed that both methods shouldn’t have been dropping exp for all those years.

 

Correct, and that why I said in one of my responses that the exp dropping from both methods was a bug then that wasn’t reported or perceived as a bug. Regardless of what the configurations were for the world, I was getting exp from both methods for as long as I could remember up until a few weeks ago (around the 1.21.2 mark). In that case, that specific bug that I didn’t know was a bug has been fixed
