This is due to 1.8 PVP mechanics. We recently removed the auto shield from swords, this is likely a side effect. https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/sg-server-suggestion-remove-shields.189523/ Perhaps a suggestion with a change to the grnd kit would be better. PS: I can't seem to reproduce this, I have a shield in my inventory and am clicking the off hand key, but it's not working? What client are you on, I'm using 1.14.4.
I'm on 1.13.2. When you bring up your inventory using E are you putting the shield in the shield space next to crafting box? Thats where the off hand goes.
I literally have no idea what you mean nor can I reproduce it. You'll need to provide some sort of video to be honest.
well, if you do it in sg it glitches out and the shield drops to the floor. Because the plugin blocks shields in offhand slot
I cannot seem to reproduce this in SG at all Trying on an alt with no bypass perms of any kind. I am starting to believe this is perhaps due to her client in some way.
