MINERUN
What is a "Minerun"?
A minerun is a type of server event in which you mine in a PvP environment. Users that wish to participate are TP'ed to a flat platform where they can prepare a base if they want. After a given period of time the host will than enable PvP while also changing what ore/precious block (iron blocks, gold blocks, diamond blocks, etc) the platform is made out off. Players will then battle it out while also trying to gather as many resources as they can before it's over.
Strategies/Techniques
- Protect the miner
Works when done with more people (3 Miners, 3 Defenders)
- Get a friend (RIP loners)
- Have one of you focus on mining
- Other person focus on protecting the person mining
2. The 3point
WARNING: MUST BE 3POINT OR THIS WILL FAIL MISERABLY
- Don't team with anyone
- Find the largest group of people
- Activate serrated strikes/skull splitter
- Laugh as they try and run
- Pick up loot
- Repeat
3. The Baby

- Avoid everyone/fighing
- Mine
- Tp out when someone looks at you
4. The spectator
LAAAAAAAAAAAME
- Vanish
5. The try-hard clan that's wanted a minerun for a really long time and are freaking out that there is finally one.

- Thank host in chat lots of time, this includes shouts and pm's
- Make sure all your clan members are online
- Call out targets
- 5v1 the target
- Repeats steps 3 and 4
8. The Mole
BORIINGGGGG
- Go to bottom layer of platform
- Sneak
- Proceed to mine everything without ever being seen
7. The average steve

- Get a few friends
- PvP a bit
- Mine a bit

- Sharpness 5 Diamond Sword
- Potions (Splash Health 2, Strength 2, Speed 2, Fire Resistance extended)
- God Apple 1-3
- Golden food source (Carrots/Apples)

- Knockback 2 Sword
- Efficiency 5 Diamond Pickaxe
- Potions (Splash Health 2, Speed 2, Fire Resistance extended)

You can't break blocks while vanished, that's why I didn't put exactly that in the strategies/techniques. You can however vanish whenever someone is near you then un-vanish when they leave etc, or just crouch on the bottom layer

This is an awesome explanation of the "minerun". Unfortunately, I would have to be in either the 3. Baby or 4. Spectator class (a simple search for my sg stats will explain everything :p)
I personally would be interested in the @riku1301 method - possibly 6.? Riku and/or his team take AdmiralD on a minerun and let him be the decoy of death and are understanding when he dies :D-

If i had investigator i would be the spectator but i dont so I am personally the one who waits until some1 is almost done mining and then just slays them. All i need is a wood sword xD cause im sure if their a miner and i sneak up on them the strength 2 will help me out. But you forgot that the specator can mine if he uses invis pots :D then all he would do is win!

One problem with the invis theory: 3point and other PvPers SG. To our dismay, invis isn't so invis after all xD Heck, if you get one shot in SG, you would get shot to the stars in Minerun with SharpV and Strength II lol.

I guess if I ever get on a minerun I will either be the baby or the mole. I hate pvp'ing when there is something to lose. Also no way I will get friends. SPLIT with them? Hell no!
