So, I went on newegg to look for some computer bundles. I've found one that is really close to the price I want to pay, and these parts seem very good. Intel I7, GeForce GTX 970, 2TB harddrive, 16gb ram, everything. I just want someone's opinion on if these parts are actually really good, or if it's too good to be true, or if they're not that good, etc etc. Thanks! ( Since I don't really know anyone, and I know you've spent ~$9000 on your computer set-up, I'm going to tag you @JamieSinn )
There is an issue with the GTX 970 4gb version, where you can only use 3.5GB of the available VRAM. Here's a good article : http://www.anandtech.com/show/8931/nvidia-publishes-statement-on-geforce-gtx-970-memory-allocation Looks like a good setup, however, I suggest you check out /r/buildapc, as well as pcpartpicker.com. My top 2 places. When building it, if you haven't done so before, check out LinusTechTips for some info on it. By far my favourite tech youtuber.
