Minecraft Name: @lambielove Suggestion: For /ignore to be able to actually ignore the player. Someone recently ignored me, and I found that I could still mail and forum pm them. I suggest to make /ignore be able to ignore mail from other players, and to be able to block other things from designated player. Reason: I’m guessing if someone ignores you, they actually want to ignore you. It’s to prevent drama and such. Other Information?: I do not know if this is already implemented. If it is, maybe there can be an addition of a message saying “you cannot forum pm this person” Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: N/A
I'm relatively certain that's already the case (although I have never had the chance to test it), but only if you use the forum's ignore ability instead of the server's. Making /ignore on the server affect xenForo might actually be about as complex as ECC's /bank system - which (at least in my opinion) is definitely not worth it. I can't say anything about hooking up /ignore with /mail, I assume only Jamie/andrew know about the complexity of that idea and/or ECC's policies regarding plugin modification.
Unfortunately, /ignore is probably the most useless command that exists on ECC I know that is recommended on every trolling/harassment complaint but the fact is that there are days that you would have to ignore the same user multiple times to be effective and most players just do not have the patience to do this.
/ignore is through HeroChat. We cannot currently tell if someone is ignored through herochat, and will not be revamping the system for this. Furthermore /ignore 's clear every restart, thus making this pointless work.
