Minecraft Username: SBCroix Brief Description: I have two members of my town that I can't remove. I think they might have used the change name feature that Mojang is offering. Instructions: Try the following commands: /region removemember xerain doubeliuex /rg removemember xerain doubeliuex /region removemember xerain kaielysannders33 /rg removemember xerain kaielysannders33 How many times did you recreate this bug?: 100% of the time. Result: Basically these commands fail with an error "Unable to resolve name" Expected Result: For the users to be removed from the town. Evidence: Try it for yourself
It seems like you aren't the only one with this problem. Maybe this post will have some helpful information. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/bug-report-unable-to-remove-player.117726/
This is caused, as stated in the other thread I believe, by a change in username. I think you can remove the user by their UUID code, but the only problem is I am not sure how one would access it. Worst comes to worst, I would assume you could talk to a GA+ and they could help you remove them. Hope this helps! ~goblizz
If you can find a lock by one of the players, you should be able to remove them by UUID. (the lock will show what their UUID is)
If you are still struggling to remove a player, send me a PM over the forums or in-game and I can remove them for you
I think I got this all resolved now. I used the tools here: http://www.lb-stuff.com/Minecraft-Name-History provided by Jakey to get the uuid and then I was able to remove them
Thank you for this link @sbcroix - it worked perfect for me as well and was able to remove inactive member of my town. And I did not have to bother Dewsy with this (although I feel I know him well enough to know he does not mind it or he would not offer to do it).
