Minecraft Name: CreativeSoum Suggestion: To allow the Official/Legal ownership of a town to be inherited to one of its comayors, as long as: 1) The current Official/Legal owner of the town is inactive from the server and forum for 6 months 2) All the other comayors can reach an agreement about who inherits the legal ownership. (and maybe do so in a contract, for example if A and B were the comayors of the town, A may pay B $20,000 to be considered the new Legal Owner) Reason: If a town's owner has left the game, then the other town comayors cannot apply for special features themselves (like moving the warp location, adding heal signs, etc). While town claims should be doing this, they require all the owners listed under "/rg i" to be inactive for 6 months, not making it possible for another comayor to take over the town, but only for someone not affliated with the town at all.) Any Other Information: No, thank you. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?:
Region owners can approve their share of the town claim. It has happened multiple times that a region owner claimed a town where everyone else was inactive. This should already be possible. To quote the gray text on the town claim application: Basically, all owners must be either permabanned, offline for at least half a year or explicitly agree to the town claim via a contract.
What if all owners are inactive except one owner - he can claim the town right? I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding you, can you please clarify this?
And what if there are other owners who don't fall into any of those claim categories (6 month offline, permaban, etc) who are okay with the transfer? Is it allowed then?
Generally we allow claims while some owners are still active AS LONG AS all of the active owners are consenting to the claim. The logic there being that they could just remove their ownership privileges for the duration of the claim process anyway and it wouldn't matter. (note that removing other people for this reason without their consent will result in a ban and even possibly the claim being undone). However we're not expanding town claiming outside of the Tycoon+ process, sorry.
