Brief Description:
Cannot destroy my own placed sugarcane in the wild, can destroy naturally occuring sugarcane though. Checked with string, no regions defined ... strange.
Instructions:
Place sugarcane in wild (ground world) and try to destroy.
How many times did you recreate this bug?:
Couple of hundred.
Result:
Sugarcane disappears for a second, then reappears (nearly the same as block lag) without a drop. Can destroy other blocks around the sugarcane just fine, ie dirt/stone.
Expected Result:
Drop sugarcane so I can finish my enchantment room!!!
Evidence:
Ugh ... I can show you in game?

we are aware of this issue and we already know the cause of it. we have submitted a bug report and are waiting for a fix.
there is a small workaround and that is to destroy the block below it or use anything else that makes the sugarcane drop without hitting it (like removing the water source)
