I was in greenland, Natelev's town. I was exploring town and went into one of the new water elevators and the game was glitching so I was switching from about half a block above the ground and on the ground constantly. Edit: As requested, to reproduce this glitch, you need to have a water tunnel with soulsand as the block underneath the water and you step inside and it should start glitching out and practically teleport around. Here is a video to help. Is this due to new physics?
