    hey there...this is probably a 'duh' post since I'm not playing much these days...should my L3 pick be dropping smelted stuff or just the raw goods? Thanks.

    Correct, before 1.18 the magic pick used to drop ingots because that is what used to drop from iron and gold ores in the vanilla game. Now I believe it drops raw iron/gold from ores as that is what vanilla ores now drop.
