Add the ticket number % that won on lot winners. For example prime buys 1 ticket I buy 99. Prime won with the first 1% of tickets. Of I buy 99 prime buys 1 prime won the lotto ticket percentage 99.5% or somethint
no it would not the suggestion is asking the ticket percentage. Lets say i spammed 10 tickets along with @Dccciz which one of my 10's won? my first 10? 7th 10? with a ticket percentage it will tell you for example 10.6% which would be the ticket that won. For example if there were 1000 tickets bought in that lotto if the ticket percentage was 10.6% it would validate that the 106th ticket bought won
Oh.... I thought you meant your percent chance of winning. I honestly don't think what you mentioned in this post is necessary or easy to code, but I'm far from an expert.
what does this even mean? +1 for chance of winning -1 for this ^^ if I told you that you had a 75% chance of winning, would it mean that your 750th ticket won? no...
the suggestion is for the percent that the ticket won, i am not dumb i can do simple math with the percentage someone won with. I am sure that since the lotto plugin is random @JamieSinn can easily find a way to take the ticket percentage of the winning ticket out of the entire jackpot
basically in the image above the user won 1800 dollars the 19% does not mean the chance he had to win. It was when the ticket was bought. In simple terms if there were only 100 tickets bought, the 19th ticket would have won. This suggestion basically states that the server tells us exactly which ticket won. so if i buy 20 tickets which of my 20 won.
I imagine the way the lottery plugin works, and this is just a guess, is that it picks a random integer from the set of tickets. So if I have 50 tickets, and you have 50, it makes 100 random integers, and picks one of them at random. Let's see 35 is picked. So using matrix's logic I think, he'd want the plugin to state that it was the 35th ticket he purchased that won. Overall, I have no idea if the plugin even works this way or if it's even feasible. Wait for Jamie
Not true. Not easy exactly. It's quite complex, and I need to find out if I can do this without doing a ton of modifications
I'm in support of that "simple math" addition of a total percentage of tickets (say you had 2 tickets, and there were 50 in the pot...that percentage), if it's not too complicated. This would be cool, but honestly, I'm not too sure lotto needs to become more "confident." It's supposed to be a game of chance, not a game of confidence. If you desire for a more skill-based gambling game...Sportsbook fits the bill.
