Don't forget with 8x exp gain it's still about 7.5k batches of splash potions (With MCMMO times 4 perk), meaning 7.5k gunpowder which is not easily obtainable. Not only that it will still require many hours of grinding to achieve 1000 in the skill.
Probably a little too high to be honest. Can you link me a page which shows what high levels of this skill actually give for the player?
