I've been having terrible internet issues recently, so I've been forced to disconnect from the server and reconnect very frequently. During one of these occurrences, the mending lure 3 rod I was holding in my hand just disappeared while I was standing at my fishing pond. My co-ordinates were 2419, 63, -608 and I was standing on a stone slab. I heard a splashing noise from the water when it disappeared, but I don't think I had ever pressed "Q". I had obviously used /own on the item, but the screenshots I had taken were old, when my rod only had mending and not lure 3. according to my logs you dropped it and it doesn't appear to have been picked back up unfortunately it must have despawned
Is it lost permanently now? I really don't want to stress over getting it all over again because I was using it to save money, buy nstars and get the star rod.
I used a lot of savings to eventually get the rod to what it now is, and it was my prized possession but now it's gone forever? Because I got disconnected from the server and the item despawned? I clearly deserve this
We apologize, but please be more careful when moving valuable items. We cannot refund the item as it was your error. The item despawned due to a bug on mojang's side, not the server.
