After great debate on a different Subject, many including myself and @Mission001 Feel a tag such as @moderate or @moderator should be made, so any and all mods can know when and where help is needed. What is your thoughts anyone?
I do like this as i think with the Add On, we can tag other groups as a whole which would be nice. But i think a Mods one would be nice, but no higher as people shouldn't be tagging SMods and higher, while Moderators imo are here to help around the forum. +1
I like the idea, although the report button already does this, at least in a way. When you report something the staff member dealing with the report sees what, and why you reported it.
As you said the staff member, single not plural, with more being tagged more likely it will be looked at. I think this is a great idea.
I think the report feature is enough, as all staff members see it and it won't be ignored or lost in the alerts the member gets. All staff get to see unhandled reports and it is quite obvious and noticeable when a report is up.
Reports aren't randomly assigned, like "oh hey you go do"... all staff can see that there are open reports, but only one will deal with each one (unless help is requested).
The problem with this is, that when you give users permission to "tag groups" it becomes a problem, they can tag any rank with the "@<rank>" and all members of that rank get an alert. Per rank tagging isn't an option.
