Hey, I used to play back in 2013/2014 and haven't really played MC at all since then. I recently purchased the game again because I didn't have access to the new account but they're both under the same username. Problem is, my forum account is tied to my old account that I no longer have access to. And I can't make a new account because it won't let me use the same username or email. Please help :)

It would be the easiest solution and won’t cause issues. This is especially so since we’ve been through a reset in 2018, so your previous progress won’t conflict with your progress today.
If you need to change the password or access email you can do so under your preferences.
