This happened to @BrokeMel too in the mining world with cave spiders, the cave spider looked like a pig, and the f3 entity showed it as a pig too. However they still attacked you, made spider noises and also dropped spider mob drops
If it helps, I have a named dog in my town that didn't change into a pig, so it must be specific mobs
I heard a lot of people in chat talking about Pigs in the water acting/sounding like Drowned, so potentially also affected.
The Pig Apocalypse didn't turn mobs into pigs. They simply looked like pigs I believe the issue is now fixed, and I actually see quite a lot of mobs are back to what they are meant to be. Pretty sure this is still happening, I've been seeing some "pigs" in weird places lately, mostly underwater or in other places where pigs ought not to be.
Please provide locations of these entities. They may or may not be fixed now, none the less, please provide locations. It is a visual glitch, and it looks like we may have to deal with it until we are 100% on 1.15.1+
