    What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    Network Wide
    Short title for your suggestion:
    Events Team
    What are you suggesting:
    I am suggesting creating an Events Team.
    A team of people to help host or come up with server events. Like the wiki team, but specifically for server events.
    Still have applications, just like the staff or wiki team.
    Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
    I know this isn't something that would happen right away, but I know there are people myself included that would love helping the staff team host events. It's not always easy for the staff as they have other things that they need to focus on as well, and having some extra helping hands for events might help them run smoother :) And events are always a great thing to get people hyped and playing :)

    If there's interest enough sure, but staff don't necessarily need to be the ones running events. Go to them with a proposed event and if they like the idea you might just get server support for it. The example coming to mind was Joli and Outer's Midsummer Festival a while back - they came to Andrew and I with a plan of what they'd like to run and what we would need to do, and everyone worked together to get it done

    It's something I've been discussing with a fair few ex staff mainly, poke suggested I make this.

    I'm talking more staff hosted server events, scavenger hunts, build competitions, etc.

    Staff could also just run the events?
    Theres not much else to do anyways besides being active for them currently. :D

    Having another team kinda just makes the normal player count even smaller for something that staff could essentially do. Or like Nicit said, players who are interested in running a event could go to administration like previous ones. :D

    What's to stop you from organizing them anyway, if you put in the legwork on a bigger event I doubt anyone would tell you no

    Nothing, but it would still be nice to have a team and not have events be exclusive to GA+

    Also, there's nothing stopping people going to me and asking me to sponsor prizes for events they'd like to run. I've agreed to it almost always in the past. No need to make a special group/title for this.
