Make prestigious more...prestigiousWhat are you suggesting:
Give prestiges another boost besides an additional sell boost. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
For this suggestion, I am suggesting that for each level of prestige, you get something financially each month. I am suggesting a /kit prestige[level #] on MAIN ONLY with a 30 days cooldown that can give something. My two ideas could be:
- 2 20k ECD arrows per level (so for me, /kit prestige1 gives 2 20k arrows, /kit prestige2 gives 2 more 20k arrows, and /kit prestige3 gives yet another 2 arrows)
- 10 nstars per level (so same concept as above, but 10 nstars per level rather than the 2 20k ECD arrows)
With prestige shops existing, in order to beat the prestige shop levels, you would need max (or near max) prestige + mythic. For that very reason, a lot of people don't want to even attempt prestiges when they cost millions of ECD and/or hundreds of hours of dedicated Minecraft time. If we give prestiges some sort of monetary/personalized value that would be tied to just the player (without any benefit for others), people would possibly attempt to go for them again.Other information:
The /kit idea, like /magic, means it is not automatic and is all based on the player logging on & timing out 30 days perfectly for the best efficient use.
Amounts could be adjusted, but the basis is every month, those with prestige get something like ECD or nstars (or something else) per month per their prestige level.Plugin or custom addition:

I don’t personally like the idea of having money or nstars monthly for each prestige.
however I do think prestiges are less desirable due to mythic and boosts. My suggestion would be to up each prestige back to 5% from 3% -
+1 to the up to 5%, dunno about just shoving nstars into the economy for js having prestige.

See, while that would be nice, that won't solve the issue I was trying to point out. People (like myself) stopped going for prestiges since we'd need near max prestige and a mythic to even remotely beat most prestige shops. Raising the prestige sell price would only raise the prestige shop buying price and the overall issue remains unchanged. Something that is beneficial for JUST the person who has the prestige would hopefully incentivize people to get them again

yeah that’s not true at all lmao, you can achieve prestige shop % by having L3 mythic, armour and boosted magic items + a few prestige’s. All of which is cheaper than acquiring 10 prestige’s and to be honest way more obtainable. There is no longer a need to get 10 prestige’s to compete with shops. Hence why the % should be increased

Also to add, is giving someone x amount of nstars a month really a big enough incentive to drive someone to pay millions for a prestige? I don’t see it as one.

I get the point, but at a time when we are struggling to remove money from the economy I don't think injecting it would be good, but you did give me an idea for a suggestion-

I mean, fair. I do have a solution that I just thought of that would make the money NOT automatic.
Instead, what if there is a /kit prestige[level] that gives 2 20k ECD arrows per level, 30 day cooldown. Not automatic, so someone (like myself who just logged for the first time in 3 months) won't make passive income, and if you forget to do it exactly 30 days after the last time, that's on you for not efficiently getting the money-

Note to everyone, I changed the idea a bit. I forgot that ECD arrows exist, so I changed it so instead of the 50k automatically given to you, you must log in and do the /kit prestige[level #] to get 2 20k ECD arrows per 30 days (which equates to 40k ECD per 30 days if you log in every 30 days exactly). Nstar version is still the same for now.
Again, amounts could be adjusted, but I did the amount like so (at least for the ECD suggestion) it could have some sort of beneficial incentive to get higher ECD without really making too big of an impact (at least for some of the easier/lower prestiges). Since prestiges are permanent, the lower number is more of a longer-term investment too -
