I forgot my forum password for ECC because it got reset to a bunch of random letters and numbers. When I got my new laptop my account info obviously wasn't saved because it was on my old laptop. Now when I request for a password reset, which I have done three times in the past few days, I never revive an email with instructions to reset my password. I wanted to know if there is any other way to reset my password or retrieve it directly from Andrewkm?
Spam folder = Junk After you choose your account you want to view, there should be a Inbox Drafts Sent Junk and more...
I would suggest just getting on a computer, which would be the easiest. I had the Junk folder on my iPad though.
Yeah…my computer is kind of slow and I haven't checked my email on it for over two years AND my dad forgot the password for my email, so I have no way to check if my password reset went to my junk mail. Do I have any other options? Lee1104
As much as I would love to help you, I don't really have an iOS7 device besides my iPad. If you have another account, maybe try adding it and the other folders will appear, or click on Imbox and show me what it says.
OMG! I found it. I searched password reset in my mail and found the last time I reset my password! It worked, but I still don't get we I'm not getting the password reset emails which I have requested 5 times in the last day.
What is your current email service provider? If you don't have the ability to directly interface with your email service, I suggest you create a new account that you can, and work on migrating any services to communicate with a new email service. On your technical problem -- I have this to offer: it appears to me on iOS that if you setup a mail box acct using one of the default configurations instead of Exchange or Other, you may not easily see the Junk/Spam folder on iOS. Personally I use Gmail -- and I have set access with it using Exchange (google has these instructions). As a result, the mail app interface not only shows "Inboxes" but also specific "Accounts" (gmail) at the bottom of the pane. Entering an "Accounts" selection will reveal all the folders available to that service. Now, as you don't remember your email service password, I recommend migrating to one you can fully control. If you require assistance to properly attach a service like Gmail to your iOS device, I would be willing to jump into a skype chat with you to help guide you.
On my iOS device (iPhone 4S), my MAILBOXES section is titled ACCOUNTS... When I click on one of my accounts, I can access their junk/spam folders. However, I found that you can access your junk/spam folder by tapping Edit -> Add Mailbox... -> tap your email -> tap Junk. This turns "on" the junk/spam folder to be viewed in your main Mailboxes area. If you don't know your passwords to your email / the forum / etc, I also suggest migrating to new accounts, or trying to go through a recovery system to get all their passwords. I personally write my passwords down on paper and put it out of site and reach, in case I forget them. (I highly suggest not storing them on your computer or phone; at least the sensitive ones, like bank info.)
