But if the scammer was pema banned and didn't return it would be taken out of the economy and this suggestion would put it back in.
Why would we want to take more money out of the economy? The system is stable how it is, so why would we want to do it more?
Overtime prices with /sell have been decreasing more and more and overtime expenses for items like donations and star tools are growing and growing. Overtime money is becoming harder and harder to get and youre going to need more and more money to get things you want. Clearly things are not stable now.
Frankly, you can never know whether you will be scammed or not.. sometimes you will be scammed and sometimes you wont.
Well, let's throw your "high resemblance of an actual economy and country" back at you. Does the US, or any country for that matter, refund people that got scammed?
The server already states the rules of scamming and that it is not safe, ect. If you don't want to get scammed take screenshots or just try not to loan out.
You see this wouldn't work because raising the prices for /sell would cause inflation causing the prices for items like donations and star tools to skyrocket. Therefore raising the prices for /sell would cause inflation and not even solve for the issue.
I'm pretty sure a staff member...not sure who...already said that this wasn't going to happen...idk why everyone is still discussing this.
Well even though it has already been decided it's not bad to discuss the issue for the sake of education about the issue.
Half and half, you can clear a player's entire history on the server easier. Selectively clearing balances, thats a bit harder.
Your ideas are so radical I can't even. Star tools killed the economy in it of itself. Star tools are already all over the place, and if we lower the prices, then there would be even more. Which then leads to more money being printed into the economy, which causes inflation. And no, inflation is not good on the scale your suggesting. Don't even try to argue that with your "US Economics Chart", because you cannot prove this wrong, at all.
What was it? Great depression if I remember... burning money for warmth was better than buying firewood. Or was it WWII?
I 100 percent agree with you, I think the ecc economy should not change at all, but @greg45865734 claims stuff is wrong.
