Hey everyone! As I noticed the other thread was locked, I decided to create a new one This is the new place where a 'stairway to Y:11' will be updated... hopefully after each reset as well as if new tunnels (like I saw in the previous thread) leading far out into the mining world are created This should benefit most players looking to get down to Y11 fast without wasting time or tool and inventory capacity and get straight down to business! Just remember this is also a quick and easy place for new builders looking for a way to make money to be shown, so we want to try and keep it as close to what it originally looks like as possible (but of course, this is the mining world and grieving is allowed) as to make it easier access down to the goodies have fun mining everyone <3
With the help of @MadMonster_ and @Kissthis , we made a new stairway to Y11 for the month of may, seen just to the right as you walk out of the mining world portal, on the edge... Have fun!
Glad to see this return since Bash used to do this every month. I will attempt to run tunnels all four directions again like I was doing when he made the stairway. Nice job Sims and Kiss! I think this is a huge help for our newest of players and hope that everyone will try to help keep the grief down.
Started on a fairly long 2x2 tunnel run last night out to East if I remember correctly. Normal ores left exposed. Will continue when next on.
Yes Sharky, great job! There were already tunnels started in each direction. I have completed the south tunnel all the way to z 2500 so far. It is only a 1x2 run so far. I may open it a little wider later if I have time but am really focusing on just getting a "fairly" safe run for players to get to the edge of the map. To our new players: There is a lot of exposed ore in all of the tunnels making for easier mining so please make good use of these tunnels.
Update: All four tunnels North, South, East, and West are completed to the edge (2500). The North tunnel is a little harder to find as you have to work your way around the spawn. Thanks again to Sims and Kiss for making the stairs and and to anyone who has helped with the tunnels. Please make sure to let all of our new players about this!
There is no help needed here and you could be less broke if you would just follow the tunnels out as there are (or at least were) exposed ores to mine helping to increase your per hour earnings. Another Update: zorracraft has completed a tunnel completely around the perimeter of the mining world at 2495. I think it is four or five wide and also has quite a bit of exposed ores. I thank him for this as it is another way to make mining easier for our newest players!
Hello Sims! Are you thinking of doing this again since the reset? I would be happy to run tunnels to 2500 like last month.
Hello everyone! I have created a new stairway to Y11 (thanks @priMELval for helping me out with the sign), but it's a little out of the way so I made it into a tower xD It's located east (you can tell this by using f3) of the mining spawn portal, which means you will have to walk around the other side of the portal to get to it I have also started a 5x2 tunnel that goes in a southern direction. Here are the coords in just case: X 49 Y 63 Z -23 Have fun and remember to try and leave things for the newbies! <3
I have continued the East tunnel as a 1x2 and now has reached to 2500. Thanks Sharky for a great start!

Thank you for the encouragement corbynn! There are many that contribute their time in order to help our newest players be able to increase their profits and succeed in our community. I will say that this month has been rough as a player decided to tear down all the hard work that sims did on the stairs and the sign I have no idea why that player decided to be so hateful toward our newest of players (jealousy maybe?) but hope they make the choice to be a positive influence in the future. This has been done in the past as well, however, the project keeps on because of the benefits provided to our new players.
Another stairway has been completed since this latest reset and tunnels have been started. I just completed a tunnel at x -26 y 11 from the stairs to z -2495. Please let our newest players know about this so they can get started mining and earning money!
