Accepted New startool

There is not a tool in the game that can break either block faster, Everything breaks it the same speed no matter what enchants it has on it. Sadly cant be a thing :/
I feel you on the glass tho, its a pain.

I would. Most irritating thing in minecraft is breaking glass.

 

No, but say 500-1000 nstars and sure, maybe "star shears"? I would probably eventually get one and I sure as heck would rent one if it could be coded to instantly silk glass.

I do think Andrew mentioned that come may or so there was going to be some new stuff to do with star tools pending EULA etc.

 

Mcmmo beserk and leafblower skills can instantly break blocks with magic. A tool like this would probably work the same way. Or maybe mojang will let tools break them faster?

 

Please please please, something that breaks glass and can silk touch it.

Costing exp will hurt the builders that are trying to start out by buying exp/tools to start with. Raising nstar prices with this won't hurt anyone.

 

Builders don't need to buy exp.

 

Me, if it also mined obsidian faster.

This was easier than I expected. Oh, and it is probably written in such an improper way that if the mcMMO devs saw this, they would probably stab me.

I used the latest available code on the mcMMO Github page.


Notes:
1. It does not drop the glass, it is lost. The block can be saved with silk touch.
2. The breaking speed is not the same on ECC. Compare with ECC's leaf blower speed.
3. The ability is unlocked at the same time as the leaf blower due to code copying.
4. It should be possible to change the tool from axe to pickaxe or any other tool.
5. I can't imagine a more improper way to add such a feature than what I have done.
6. Looking at mcMMO's code with a headache is not a good way to preserve my sanity.

Oh, and apparently something went wrong with youtube's video processing. The weird zoom/camera movement does not happen when playing my local recorded file.
