Bugs/Exploits Thread title: Blaze Damage bug. Minecraft Username: @Jffsprs Brief Description: Baze Fireballs not giving damage. Instructions: 1. Stand/fly/hover near a Blaze spawner 2. Blaze spawn 3. Blaze shoot Fireballs at you and you don't take on Damage. .. How many times did you recreate this bug?: Was able to have the Fireballs hit me repeatedly with no damage to myself . With armor on or off. Result: Same results Expected Result: NA Evidence: I even relogged back in with the same result. I had armor on and I took it off with same results. I was not in any Region Protected area. I called in a 3rd party, to test the outcome, I had SuperMod @pokeball92870 come into the Nether and test this out with me. He experienced the same results. He was able to get some video of the occurrence, and will upload it here soon.
This seems like the effects of Pyro+, although I'd think you'd take damage from the things it's shooting at you, and not fire damage. But the most logical thing happening here is you possibly have Pyro or Pyro+. I'd check your /myfeatures to see.
Yes I do, but the Blaze Fireballs have always given damage in the past, unless something has changed with that perk.
Maybe something changed. I'd think you'd take damage from the balls too. But apparently not. Guess Pyro stops that too. Lol
Relevant video: If it adds any merit, I do have Pyro (specifically Pyro, no +), but it does not stop standard fire damage (or damage from directly touching Blazes).
So are only PyroPlus users affected by this? (That's what I'm understanding here). Further more is this still occuring @Jffsprs
@andrewkm , Yes this is still occurring. The fireballs don't affect me, but if the Blaze hit me, physically, by being too close, I do take damage.
@andrewkm , I just tried it out and my Pyro Powers have failed me. So yes that did change the expected Damage and I do receive damage from the Blaze's Fire Balls. ;-) <---- Bows to The Epic Andrew...
Basically Pyro users should still get explosion damage in the nether. PyroPlus however have LS nodamage fire/lava so perhaps this is interfering for those with PyroPlus. However since @pokeball92870 said he only has Pyro and is experiencing this I'm not really sure what's wrong. I'm going to experiment with the following setting that I've just set for the nether only: Code: block-fireball-explosions: false Let me know if that made things better... @Jffsprs @pokeball92870
