Minecraft Name: Bluebo_ Suggestion: Change Party Chat color Reason: VIP chat and Party chat are both lime green. Gets a bit hard to read when both chats are going on at the same time. Other Information: This color or this or this
Maybe a light blue color like you used in your thread post here. Yellow is already used for local chat.
+1 I have seen several times VIP chat being often used and sometimes it's really really confusing between VIP and Party Chat!
My opinion about the different colors: 0 - Simply a terrible color for chat messages. 1 - Still barely readable. 2 - Possible. 3 - [Trv]/Moderators. 4 - That's even more of a warning color than /ch alert, so we shouldn't use that one. 5 - Possible (but potentially slightly less readable). 6 - Possible. 7 - [Tr] 8 - Possible, but more difficult to read. 9 - Slightly more difficult to read compared to the other colors. A - [V] B - [Auc] C - [Alert] D - Too close to PM considering how many people complain about those who send pink messages in global. E - [L], [M], [E], ... F - [G] The list of acceptable color codes is pretty short in my opinion: 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
I was thinking the same, but the issue would be the amount of people with orange nametags. Once you're president+, your colour doesn't change unless you have Nick+. We would need very clear brackets enclosing your name so that &6 can be made as the party chat colour.
Personally. I think /ch trv should be done away with and just make party chat that color. Meh, I leave /ch trv and /ch v every chance I get so I don’t really care if party chat color is changed. Good luck tho!
I fail to see how its confusing when party chat is formatted differently personally. Just my two cents. Leave it how it is?
If anything change one to mayor green. It's really the only readable color not in use somewhere. I don't think it needs to be changed but mayor green is the least objectionable option.
Due to there not being a replacement color that suits everyone (can't be gold as it would screw with staff chat, etc) I will be leaving party the way it is at this time. No need to change it. If someone comes up with a better solution, and it's actually needed with tons of support we may look into changing it, but as it stands, I believe it's fine as it is.
