Hello, There seems to be a bug when I place blocks and also fly. The bug is that I place blocks and then they vanish as if it were a glitch but then they don't come back nor do the blocks missing get re-added to my inventory. I tested this while walking and placing blocks and the same bug did not happen so I feel as though it may only be a /fly bug. Please see the link below for a video I recorded of this bug. Have you ensured this is not a visual glitch? You can log out and back in to see if the blocks were placed or if they re-appeared in your inventory. In the meantime @ClarinetPhoenix please see if you can reproduce this issue.
Alright, we'll have to wait until 1.17 to see if this is fixed. Please try to adjust your flying speed to where this no longer occurs for now. If it's still happening after 1.17, let us know.
@andrewkm A couple of days ago it happened but I haven't really placed blocks much to test it in the past 3-4 days. Would you like me to test it again?
I re-created the issue and it happened around 3 times however I did realize I am on 1.17.1, could this be a reason for the lag?
I did it in 1.16.5 and the bug occurred twice, it was very rare however. It happened once towards the start and again around 10-15 minutes later. Probably just a 1.17 thing but I'm not really good with technical stuff :/
I'd say best to wait until the full 1.17.1 update then, and adjust your fly speed accordingly in the meantime.
