ECC Poetry Competition!
Beginning now and running until 11:59PM EST on 11/22/21, I'm going to be hosting a poetry contest! Anyone may participate, all you have to do is submit your poem(s) as a reply to this thread!
Prizes
50k given out to the winners of the best haiku, sonnet, limerick, and freestyle poems!
10k given out to the best of each theme!
20k given out to my favorite submission!
There will be a total of 250k in prize money for this competition!
Rules
You must post your poem(s) as a reply to this thread
You may only post one poem of each type, however you may post all four types if you wish
You can only win the top prize for one type of poem, so I encourage doing all four
Rules for poem content are the same as global chat in-game
Multiple stanzas are not required, but may make your poem stand out

EcoCityCraft In 2021
Another year on ECC is done,
And oh my was it a bunch of fun.
Let us look back on a defining year,
Before we bring in 2022 with a cheer.
January like 2020, released Magic Tool after Magic Tool,
From Elytra to Melon Sword, oh it made the sponsors drool.
February was sad with the passing of Ike,
A real OG player and on ECC he was godlike.
March was its anniversary, 10 Years!?! cor blimey!
I'd been through it all, man i felt old-timey!
And in April we were given a word of warning,
A reset is coming? Quick, Panic sell, it could be in the morning!!
And in May, it happened, the dreaded reset,
MainEast was gone, along with everyone's soaring debt.
June and July were rather quiet,
Except at /warp blaz, it was busy, you can't deny it!
In August, Magic Hours became a thing,
People with Magic Tools were going Ka-ching!
September brought a new Minecraft release,
Candles, Copper Oh! Deepslate, what a masterpiece!
October is always full of screams and boo's!
It's a real big shame that my friend Coow could only moo!
November has just started, but already with a boom,
A 10th prestige!?! Oh boy we're all doomed.
And December I'm sure will have events full of fun,
All I need to do is get off my bum!
And thats it! 2021, see ya later, it's been a ride,
But don't worry, 2022 is coming and I'm sure it'll be amplified!

Sorry for posting prizes a day late, the last couple of weeks have been a tad hectic! Anyway, I had a lot of fun reading these, and on a couple it was a really hard choice to decide a winner :D
