Item/Rank/Feature: Pumpkins Data Value: N/A Current Price: $0.40 Suggested Price: $1 Brief Description: You break it Open Discussion: I bought a pumpkin axe and went farming in a huge farm. The whole 2 rows only gave me $140. In my opinion that is bad money. I would have to do about 10 rows of that just to get 1k. $1 per pumpkin is a lot but if builders farm them they will make more money. Everyone will make more money. So does anyone agree?
Right now you make about 12k an hour efficiently farming pumpkins, if pumpkins were $1 each we would be making about 30k/hour , which is way too much. -1
I was hoping to see someone wanting the price to go down, instead I see someone wanting the price to MORE THAN DOUBLE There's a reason why the prices are like this. Also you need fly for good profit.
This never, ever will happen. Let's go make 30-40k an hour with a 10k tool. Doesn't make any sense and it will completely exploit the economy. -1
I agree it should be raised... Just not to $1. I think 0.75 would be fine. (What it was before it got messed up).
I would like to point out that a pumpkin axe is fairly cheap is regards to other tools, so yes it is going to make "bad money" in the same sense an eff2 pickaxe makes "bad money" when compared to an eff7. "Everyone will make more money" this is exactly what is trying to be stopped currently, more money=more inflation.
$1? You must be kidding me. You dont need to be a math expert to realise that this will cause a inflation. First off, melons are $1.65 and it does not instabreak. Lets say that pumpkins were raised to $1, you can make up to 10k more than melon swords make. Melons: Estimated: $17,269.74/hour Pumpkins: Estimated: $17,532.44/hour This was prices a while ago, and you can find the forum post which andrew made a while ago Herehttp://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/discussion-regarding-farming-prices-on-ecc-testing-being-done.64008/ Overall -1
If you want to make more money with pumpkins, farm a 2-wide row at a time (sometimes I see people go down a line just hitting a 1-wide row then coming back to take the other part) with speed potions.
Well guys if you were in my shoes (A Resident with no money wanting mayor, donation features bought with ingame money, saving for a msword, and having to payback a loan) you would want the money value to go up!
When I was a builder making more than 6k an hour was unheard of, and resident was still 20k. It still takes only a couple of hours of mining just to get that rank, it's not difficult, it just takes time.
Ecc is not meant to be a quick rankup server that everyone gets bored from. It is meant to take a long time to get max rank so people will stay. That is why prices keep falling.
Yes but you need to thing logically, this is a hardcore economy server. As someone who farmed snow as a builder, I know the feeling of wanting to be rich, but in the end, making pumpkins $1 would cause insane amounts of money for a low cost tool.
I always figured pumpkins went down in price due to the massive over farming of them. Almost everyone farms pumpkins that farms and doesn't have a melon sword.
Although it shouldn't come up to a dollar i do think farming prices should come up. Eff7 makes more money than a nm sword yet an msword costs more
-1 pumpkins should be worth more but $1 per pumpkin is a little too much maybe 50 cents? But I would like to point out to everyone the pumpkin Axe is a critical tool for anyone farming pumpkins. Melon and pumpkin farming both need tools to be effective. I don't see why it's ok to have a melon sword be 600kish and a pumpkin Axe be 10k sound odd.
