Because farming creates 100% of its money from thin air, it will always be andrewkm's red-headed stepchild. With mining, some people sell their goods to other players, like gold, diamonds, emeralds and exp. Farming is constant money without any risks, so it will always make slightly less than mining as the is less risk of losing stuff. Pumpkins currently can make around 12.5k a hour which is really fine and if you have a big enough farm you can farm for as long as you like so it really doesn't need changed much/at all.
I like the price the they are as of today. MAYBE they can be raised like 5¢ more but that is it. Pumpkin axe users would make too much money, when farming pumpkins. I do not see a reason to raise it this high. -1
I believe .5 would be a very fair price 4x less then when I started I think good idea to raise a little.
