Hi all This one is for the server admin team but I thought I might as well ask here so everyone can see the answer. If I lend a tool, which is /own'd to myself, to another player and then they are banned whilst the tool is in their inventory will the server admins still be able to retrieve the tool? Why though? It seems (apologizes if I sound rude) stupid to have a /own system if you can't retrieve your tools from scammers.
The own system has honestly already done us an enormous amount of good with item finding and so forth. Unfortunately we cannot work around some thing such as offline player .dat files however.
but if you /own something can't it be...replaced... if in a scammers inventory since the log will show them having it...can't it be re-created and given to the owner? Just curious, because otherwise I agree with obble's original comment about what's the point of /own-ing something if when you lose it/loan it you can't get it back. I guess I'm being hypothetical as I have nothing worth loaning but seems like it'd make it a much more fearful proposition to lend things.
