I really want this to happen because it would attract more players as a new, creative way to get money. I love to test my PvP skills on animals and it would be nice to make a decent profit for it. I would suggest raising them to about the same prices as fish. Its a much more exciting way to make money as opposed to the alternatives. P.S For those who say animals aren't plentiful, I know this. The mining world has shown to have more animals, and hunting could be done there.
Hunting sounds like a unique method of earning money. At least this is going to be more fun than some methods of earning money.
For this to be even close to valid, mob spawns would have to be increased to a point where the server would lag to much. -1
Nowhere in this thread it has been suggested to increase the mob spawn. On the contrary: if all different kinds of meat were made more profitable to sell, more players would spend time hunting mobs, thus killing more, thus leaving less mobs roaming around.
I don't see why not, hunting can be a lot of fun, and most people just eat potatoes anyways so it won't do any harm really to the food market. +1
I read the thread. I am well aware of what it is saying. What I was saying is that for people to care enough to hunt mobs, the spawn rate would need to increase. NO one is going to spend an hour in the mining world to find 3 pigs and sell the meat for $60.
