I'm kind of interested in renting an eff7 to test it out. But at those rental prices, I might as well just purchase one on a payment plan haha, it would be cheaper!
You can make around 25k from mining for one hour with an eff7, and around 15k with a melon sword. At most, it should only take you 2 hours to start making a profit. The prices listed here are very reasonable and I have to say Matrix_rep is very easy to work with. I previously rented an efficiency 7 from Matrix_rep having lost my own due to going afk in mining and after one and a half hours I had made back what it cost me to rent for one whole week. Depending on your time spent in game you can very quickly gather the money to buy your own star tool or at very least a significant amount as down payment for one.
I have a question - would it be possible to rent out an eff7 pickaxe for just two hours for around 5k or so? Because I would like to try it out and see how much I (with a low mining skill) could make. If I did find that I can make around 25k an hour as you say, I will have made enough to rent it for longer. If this sounds acceptable to you, I can fill out the application. I believe I've rented a star rod from Matrix_rep before (unless I'm mistaking him for someone else), so I hope that I would be considered trusted enough to rent.

I have a quick question - I'm interested in renting the eff7 for a day (as I said in-game) and I have 30k. But I'm going out tomorrow with my husband and don't know what time I'll be home, so I'm not sure if I could get the pickaxe back to you within 24 hours. Is there any way I can pay 30k now, mine for 2-3 hours and then pay another 30k to equal 60k and keep it for two additional days since there's the option to rent three days for 60k? Just to make it clear: Say I rented at 3 PM EST, and then at 6 PM EST I messaged you saying I was ready to pay the other 30k. Then I would be able to keep the pickaxe until 3 PM EST on the 9th. So the additional two days would add on to from the time I started the rental, not the time I paid the additional ECD required. (I hope all of this makes sense, haha)
