at the moment I know a few people who have been waiting an extremely long time for some tournament that hasn't happened. its unrealistic for 24 people from different areas in the world to all be on at the same time which is the main reason this change is necessary. also this system allows for like 4 people per year to achieve this prestige...Other information:
instead, having a kill based/win based system would allow more people to have a chance to achieve this. this would allow for the skilled players to get this prestige decently fast,, while the not so good players could slowly achieve this prestige over a long amount of time, instead of having an exclusive event where only the best pvp players can win.

+1 I'd be more up for something like 1000 kills overall = prestige
In all honesty, I'd even advocate for the SG prestige to be removed completely, but that's for a different suggestion.-

I much prefer the open, and fair tournament system for a PvP prestige. Killing 1000 people with sharp I iron swords, strength pots, and flame bows has basically 0 PvP skill needs.-

+1, something that many people can obtain unlike the current sg prestige where only a small ammount of people get it per season. Also, something more reasonable to achieve unlike the current prestige. Even if alot of people dont play sg, this would still be achievable as you would eventually hit that ammount of kills or whatever it asks

+1 as it is now I haven't even considered going for this prestige bc I know I can't. I like the 1k kills over time idea. It gives you something to work towards long term.

+1 This would make the prestige more realistically attainable to a greater amount of people, which would hopefully lead to more people actually playing the gamemode. Though if this system were to be implemented, I would suggest maybe more than 1000 kills for the prestige - it should still be reasonably difficult to get.

As well, I think the 1000 kills is fine if you put a time limit on it. For example, you need to get 1000 kills within a month, and at the end of each month, stats are reset. As well, here are a few other suggestions for prestige.
Prestige Options:
- Kill Prestige: 1000 Kills in 1 Month.
- Win Prestige: You need to win 500 Games within 1 Month.
- Death Prestige: You need to die 1000 times in 1 Month.
- SG Money Prestige: Make it so you are unable to /bank withdraw in SG, and you need to accumulate a total of $1,000,000 ECD within 1 Month. (Money is earnt from Kills/Wins).
Doing this on a month-by-month basis will force players to play SG more regularly, and increase the number of players we have in our SG arena. I do think if we were going to implement any sort of prestige opportunities within SG, we should bring back the randomized kit/no kit games in SG. As well, on the Death Prestige, players don't seem to play SG because they don't stand a chance against kits and keep dying. By implementing a prestige that literally rewards you for just trying to play and dying is a great option. It means the more games you play the more prestige options you have. -
+1 It sounds like a good change, although about what Icon said sg would need a huge boost in players in order for 1 month time frame to be reasonable, I don't know how many games you can play in 1 month so can't really say anything else.

See, my thing is sg is a dead gamemode on ecc. only time u get games is when a group of friends are playing the gamemode or the server is doing some event. Honestly I want the sg prestige to be more accessible and stuff, but i also feel like sg shouldnt have a prestige to it seeing as its a dead gamemode.

+1. Although I think the talked about 1000 kills in 1 month is a little high (that’s over 33 kills a day if you get online every day for a month) But 1000 or 1500 in a season seems like it could be a good number.. and realistic yet challenging if sg play is still sparse

I think adding the chance for prestige is exactly what we need to make it less of a dead game mode. People always say that SG is dead, but if we were to add more reasons for it to be played it would be the revival it needs. -

If the requirement is changed to kill amount it will be more appealing to a larger group of people. Rather than being the top SG player. More of a grind, less of a competition. Which provides more players on SG regularly.
