Hello guys, just making this post to see if you, the players of ECC think I should apply for moderator when staff applications open next. I am doubtful whether or not I should apply. I like helping out as a normal user, as it is fun, but as a moderator, I could enforce rules and be generally more helpful. I am mainly postng this, because I am going for tycoon and ecoleader now, and want to show off my tag in-game.If you say Yes or No, post why below!All, and any input is greatly appreciated, I will read through it all. When I come to my decision, I shall either post an application, or not. Also, I may post the answer below. Thank you for the input.-a18
a-18-to-the-rescue-! If you feel that you have enough time to both play ECC and put aside for "mod duties" I would vote Yes for you I have seen you helping new/confused/angry builders at spawn before and you did a great job at satisfying whatever questions or needs that they had.
What glockemdown said. If you don't have enough determination to keep trying without having to ask other people about it, you probably shouldn't.
All feedback put into consideration so far, my answer as of right now is yes. Seeing as how I have all issues outside off ECC resolved, and am able to fulfill all of the staff standards! Still taking feedback though.
Thanks for the input, but... I do not mini-mod; I help players out in chat by asking them not to do/say some bad things (Ex: Cursing), directing them to the correct chats, answering thier questions, etc. I also do much more that you may cosider as "mini-modding", but I have been told by several current and past moderators that what I am doing right now is not mini-modding.
... Don't get me started. OH CRAP IM STARTING. Ahem. You could not be picked and go through a deep depression which causes you to doubt the way you act on ECC and making you talk "like a sir" endlessly. You then realize that will get you nowhere and you finally realize that you need a way to vent out your depression. You then continue to waste all your monies in the lottery and go through a whole new stage of depression. Finally, you realize your life on ECC is pointless and you jump off a cliff.. in minecraft. You then die. Until the next round of mod picks where you suddenly become that responsible person you didn't know about.
After doing some research with friends, on websites, on actions towards people with various titles and many other sources, I discovered that you are more likely to be treated with the title you are given, and it may stick with you forever. I would like to have a good, permanent title to stay with me here on ECC. I am determined; and I am able to handle the tasks of a moderator, so I will apply once they open!
