I am contemplating getting a new laptop just for school and ECC. No other games, no fancy stuff... just school and ECC. I know building a computer would be better for gaming as well as stuff in general, but there's no way I'm doing that. I don't need or want a PC. Currently I play on a shitty laptop. Yes, I get good FPS, it's not that bad but the processor isn't very good, graphics aren't very good and I only get 15 FPS while recording... lol... I found this laptop that has an i5 processor and NVIDIA graphics card for just $600. I want opinions on whether or not it's good for playing ECC and if I will be able to record and have high framerate at the same time. I know nothing about this type of stuff so I need your help. Also if you have any other suggestions on laptops I should buy strictly for ECC and school, post them. Budget is $700 USD, i5 processor is just fine. Here is the link for the laptop I'm considering:
If you really want one for recording, you're going to need something that pushes further. Not only for recording but for video edditing software such as Adobe premiere CC 2017. I recommend this one, its like the one i have
Or just spend the same amount of money and build a pc that is 10x better then any lap top you will ever get.
Acer isn't always the best... I usually recommend Asus. I don't remember what I have specifically, but it works great and it is one of those you can fold into a tablet xD
Macs are good for editing and recording(the one I have is). I can normally get about 100 FPS on my mac.
I like those... but I literally just need it to record some SG matches, I'm not trying to start a YouTube channel or something lmao
