Themes & Competitions Every Season​

What are you suggesting:

I'm suggesting every SkyBlock season to have a theme specified by players as well as a build competition to have the best looking island. Some items will have more /worth and /is value during that season, any other items will stay the same as they now are. And at the same time of grinding -mostly- all those chosen items, people can focus on making their islands look pretty in order to get a good ranking for sweet rewards that are given in the end of each season (vouchers or ECD or forum medal/trophy) ! Also best islands could be screenshotted and added into ECC Galery !​

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

This would:

*•••* add more meaning to SkyBlock. It's currently all about going for Prestige so people rarely care about making their islands look pretty. Also there are usually very few ways of making and people focus on those ways and do nothing else which gets kinda boring after a while (even though it hasnt been boring for many people yet, im sure it will soon be like that in the future). Also this would keep people playing SkyBlock for other reasons besides Prestige (i believe most people will never play SkyBlock ever again after getting triple Prestige, unless they set up a system and make 15 levels every hour for /isr, which is like not playing the game at all).

• make more people play SkyBlock
• make the current players keep playing SkyBlock for even longer
• get some of the Builders in ECC (some of the best people in my opinion. Because they make ECC look beautiful with their builds) to play SkyBlock because there would be build competitions with different a topic each season!
• literally add a whole new life to SkyBlock and ECC !​

Other information:

What is a theme?: Players suggest a theme for the next season with a very detailed thread open to discussion. When it's close to end of season, a voting pole could be made to choose the next theme. In a theme, some relative items have higher prices and island points while all other items stay the same for that season only. This would allow people to focus on very different things each season and make the gameplay more enjoyable.




Current /worth and /is value of all items can be saved as their main values&worth's. So after a season ends, some items can be reverted back to their original value&worth.




For More Clarification: Theme Example 1: "Colors!"
• All the colored wool, concrete, terracota, glazed terracota and stained glass have higher points and worth. [This would make sheep and spider spawners way more valuable since they give items for wool, also the spawners that spawn mobs which drop items to make colors, etc.]

Example 2: "Hellfire"
• All nether, fire and heat related thngs have more value&worth. [This would make specific mob spawners way more valuable and make nether more popular etc.]​
