We have decided to implement spawners on EcoCityCraft's SkyBlock!
The decision was made after consulting with several users and the community privately and publically via:

Don't get too excited however, these things are going to be rare! And when I mean rare, getting your hands on a spawner key isn't all there is to it. You're now going to need to open the spawner crate and hope you get what you're looking for.

Main points from this addition:

• All VIP ranked users and up can place spawners.
  • (Island world only, no nether/end)
• All Elite ranked users and up can silk touch spawners.
  • (Island world only, no nether/end)
• All SkyGod ranked users get the new /kit spawner which gives them just 1 spawner a month.
• All users have a chance at a spawner key via /warp starcasino.
  • (In fact, we added every single crate key to our slot machines!)
• Wither, WitherSkeleton, Enderdragon, and Giant spawners are blocked completely.
• All users can buy a spawner key via our shop: https://shop.ecocitycraft.com
  • (These are not cheap, and if anything will get more expensive)

Let's see how this addition works for us on EcoCityCraft. We have done what we can to ensure this is not too OP, yet is still available for everyone on SkyBlock. As always, we cannot make all sides happy, but we tried to do this the best way we could, for both sides of the thread discussion & poll linked above. With only 1 key a month for SkyGods, low Star Casino percentages, expensive shop prices, and the fact you can end up with a silly bat spawner at the end of the day, we believe this addition will play out quite well. But as always, only time will tell.

IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE:
If you are caught with spawners from before this news post, which were not acquired via the spawner crate, you will face an immediate severe ban. We have done what we can to purge the world of spawners prior to this addition, however there is no way we got them all. If you are caught or reported for having a spawner that is believed to have been acquired outside of a spawner crate, we will investigate the accusation immediately. EcoCityCraft logs all spawner crate openings, all block placements/breaks, all chest access, and more. Please come forward via PM to a staff member and they will help you dispose of it in a legal way:

PS: All users on the server will be able to publicly see which spawners have been won via the spawner crate at /warp crates.
