Name: OConner1279 Bug description: When breaking spruce logs with Magic Axe III + replant mode, spruce saplings often fail to replant. This happens most often when I break an isolated spruce log (but it works for oak under like circumstances). I have mostly encountered the bug when dealing with 2x2 spruce trees, but it has also happened with 1x1 growths. I tried swapping the podzol with grass, which did not fix the issue. I also tried removing town flags and using town flags identical to other tree setups, and both failed to ensure replants. Number of times replicated: 25+
Ok. It turns out the logs needed to have leaves adjcent to them close by to replant. Maybe spruce trees too tall? I added and its fixed for me now.
The issue is that when the Magic Axe tree feller used on the TALL spruce trees doesn't always take out the whole tree, especially in a farm/cluster setting. So what's sometimes left is partial trees, if that partial tree isn't connected to any leaves blocks - it doesn't replant. We probably need to make sure the magic axe is taking out the entire tree when hit, to ensure there isn't any leafless stumps left - which is what seems to be causing the replant failure.
