So do we open mc and then open squid? Or does launching mc automatically launch squid or do you just launch squid?

 

You launch Squid instead of the original Minecraft launcher. Think of it as a replacement for the original launcher.

 

You can play on any and all servers, including any and all blacklisted ones.

 

Question: Does SquidHQ actually work rn?

 

All mods are compatible. This is just a launcher that bypasses the blacklist.

I seem to have plenty of storage so I am unsure of why this is happening

8 total gb of ram on the computer with 7.40 usable.

 

Yes, it was our internet causing problems.

 

It is now an .exe file.
You simply double click it instead of minecraft, and play minecraft.

 

I am running a decent amount of things in the backround but all take up little-no space.

This issue happens to me as well yet I have no other programs running with 16 GB of RAM.

 

Question: When I downloaded this launcher both my antivirus software and my pc said that this file may have a virus and it tells me not to download the file. Is squid launcher 100% safe?

 

How much memory (ram) you have?
You're probably running too many things in the background.

2. If so, when will the progress be backed up, and when should I stop doing things like mine and build (and wait until Squid so my progress won't be rolled back)

I am not sure what you mean. Since SquidHQ has nothing to do with how the server saves towns and worlds, I will assume you mean singleplayer worlds.

The SquidHQ launcher is pretty much equal to normal Minecraft - it only removes the blacklist. For anything else, the rule "If Minecraft does it, SquidHQ does it in the same way" applies.

Nothing front-end server wise will change. you can already use squidHD on ecc or any other server.
