Minecraft Name: @purplelegoender Suggestion: I am suggesting that another forum medal be added to forums(hint look at the title name) Reason: This may be a good addition to Ecc because everyone collects Star Tools and such but only uses them for mining and nobody really knows that you have them unless you tell them, so what better way than to make a forum medal of someone who has collected every Star Tool and a separate medal for everyone who has collected the Star Armor. So in truth this is a suggestion to add two new medals to the forums if of course this is accepted by @andrewkm and @JamieSinn as it is up to the both of you and of course probably discussing this with @Imaginex and @ClarinetPhoenix but I don't know its just an idea I came up with in-game with an addition of what @Photonoid said as well, but not for each medal as that's to many to add. Other Information: I honestly don't know what else to say about this, just would be a nice addition to Eco City Craft since we have so many Star Tools and its a serious goal for most people to get all the Star Tools and the Star Armor. Sorry for tagging so many people to this I know its not always proper since the main four of you tagged are usually extremely busy with many things concerning Ecc. 1. Buy all star tools. 2. Rent out entire set, including transferring /own's for brief period to people you explicitly trust 3. All of your friends can now obtain this medal for cheap/free! There's a reason that all the collector medals involve taking the items in question. Sure, it's a goal of people to get star tools, but they don't need a medal to make them look rich. If they want to look rich, they can buy "Eco-" ranks.

Sorry just a way to mark important things, looks cool to me but I don't know why I do it. Anyways im sure theirs a way to check for that or could be a way. Plus whoever in their right mind would loan out an entire set of star tools and armor that's just stupid, as well as you would have to put your pointer over it like this and it could be /owned by the other person obviously and if they just try to change the Id you would be able to tell. Example: @3point14mp did name these items for me as that's why I posted these specifically as this is my most prized possessions.
Its what rich people do, look at @maroiogog, @3point14mp, and @BackToThePast for examples. @maroiogog has like almost 20 Star Tools and @BackToThePast and @3point14mp have almost every single medal and still millions on the server. If this is added I will really be willing to buy all Star Tools and Star Armor for this medal regardless of how much it would cost.
A lot of people have friends they trust absolutely with anything, and that would include a full set of star equipment. If you do trust a friend absolutely, you don't see any harm in transferring the /own for a brief bit.
Well still, their are ways to check some of this stuff in the logs I would guess I'm not so sure but we still have the part of the /owned ID on the tools/armor.
What do you do then, though? Say that each ID can only used for the medal once? Not only does that make it a hassle to actually buy tools for the medal, but those wishing to do it can still easily swap tools with others. Might get tricky after a few people on the rarer tools but I think it still wouldn't be that bad, and boom, effectively free, a whole new "set" of tools. And sure, you can say that staff can do a log dive for any individual medal but... well, no, that's a massive waste of time on something trivial.
Well for how rare it would be for someone it wouldn't matter toward a log dive though I do understand your reasoning but when has nothing ever been a hassle for staff I mean honestly this would actually be one of the hardest medals to work for and would be worth it in the end. Of course you would have to apply the screenshots for when you /owned it not just an in-game screenshot which would make it even harder for someone to fake this without the original full ID of the tools
Lol, well your logic sometimes is hard to debate against in most occasions but the point of an original ID is to stay forever no matter what you do to a tool, unless a staff member is requested to change the ID if that's even possible. As I did say above you would have to apply the original screenshot of the IDs that where taken in-game which is what your suppose to do anyways when you /own an item so if they didn't have those IDs then they would be screwed. If they where to try and give each other the ID screenshots you would be able to tell by the users character skin and the name on the ID of the screenshot like below Example: Though your name isn't on the screenshot you could easily have to just list that you must take it in 3D form like below Example: Though it may be a hard medal to apply for but it would still be worth it and I'm sure andrew or jamie would find a way around something like this but I wouldn't know andrew and jamies knowledge and logic on this kind of stuff is way beyond me as of right now lol.
that's where you're missing my point. To apply you'd just put the stuff in a chest for the SA's to check just like any other collector medal so screenshots are irrelevant. HOWEVER requiring unique ID's causes 2 issues: - It makes it slightly more of a hassle to buy tools second hand for the medal (as you have to check to make sure the given ID hasn't been used in a medal app before. - It's still not impossible to loan tools to friend. You can't change an ID on a tool, but you can change the tool. I promise you that if you go into trade chat and ask to get a melon sword, and offer a melon sword and 50k, nearly anyone would take you up on that offer. And then you have a new tool with a different ID, for far less than the total price of the tool itself.
@Kick_Me_1235 has a point their, just like any other medal why not just have the staff take the star tool as payment so whoever would try doing what you stated @Nicit6 would be screwed that way the two issues provided would not coexist with each other and their you go problem slightly solved but would be millions lost but it is for a medal and as said before would be the most expensive and hardest risk taking medal to apply for. Thank you @Kick_Me_1235 for pointing that out, I wasn't considering that since they are tools but it would probably have to work only just like that.
nobody is going to trade a set of star tools for a medal except one or two people, but we shouldn't make medals only achievable by 1 or 2 people. Medals should be difficult but obtainable. Not nigh on impossible and/or a total waste of money. We have medals that are a total waste of money already, the ecoleader/master/legend ones
Not to mention that what, only 11 people have the netherstar collector medal? Nobody would obtain this. There is no point in having a medal that more likely than not nobody would ever get.
Well its up to andrew and jamie on this, andrew has been looking to pull money out of the economy for a while now and look at Survival Games for example @3point14mp is the only one with 1.7mil sg points and is the only one with a 1.2mil Medal and that's hard to get as well but it will be decided as nobody really applies for medals unless they can afford it so I don't know and this isn't completely out of reach to receive.
This wouldn't pull any money out of the economy. You can't trade ECD to the server to get nstars or star tools, so literally no money ever gets pulled out of the economy. Stars enter and leave, money doesn't.
