Let me start by saying I am on my phone, and for some reason copy/pasting the format isn't working right now. Suggestion: give game Admins the ability to spectate in sg. Reason: this will stop a majority of hackers because the GA team can observe people over day instead of just having 3-4 videos where they need to make a desicion. This will be just like X-Ray where staff just watches a user.
Agreed. This suggestion will be the food for thought for the people involved in SG, hoping that the lesson will be given only to the hackers
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is rather tricky to observe individuals in SG as of now. The only flaw I can see with this suggestion is GAs getting pressured to observe certain members of the community. As long as this is simple to implement, I don't see why not.
TBH, there's been a PR ready and waiting for this to be implemented for a good 5 months. Its a monolith of project changes, and not something that we can willy nilly add. I'd feel more comfortable after skyblock revisiting it and looking at it.
+1 to this suggestion When will skyblocks be added? I remember you and Andrew saying that adding mini games was going to be the easiest part of the hub. Here we are a couple months later and once again the community has not been informed with what is going on.
The short of it; Real Life Sh!t happens. Also, bugs are required to be cleaned up before we start another project, so andrew's been hard at working cleaning up the to do list and then we shall get back on track to skyblock. No ETA just yet but I hope to give one soon.
I'd much rather you guys focus on looking in AAC than this suggestion. We're aiming for the symptoms (a lot of hackers on the server) rather than the cause of the problem, which is an extremely bad anti-cheat system (NCP). I'd much rather you aim for the cause, as dealing with it will treat the symptoms.
