Minecraft Name: DeMacca Suggestion: That Netherstars should be able to be bought with In real Life currency (USD) kind of thing Reason: More money for the server, and More Netherstars to get the Star tool you need Any Other Information: I know with this kind of stuff it's usually denied, yet I'm putting this out there anyway Link To This Plugin: N/A
They would have to be stupidly overpriced, because the netherstar market is one of the most important ones - people need an incentive to vote, and netherstars are a great one. If this was too cheap, people would just do this, instead of actually voting. I'd just prefer they kept to a voting exclusive item.
Might as well just buy EcoDollars with real money... In the end it would just equal out to the same amount, while possible causing an very inflexible nstar market in-game. -1
We should leave the acquisition of nether stars as is. The Star tools are incredibly efficient and making them easier to obtain is something that I would never like to see happen.
Yep as Said In Rachel's Pumpkin Price suggestion, Pumpkin Farming with a Pump axe Nearly Makes more than Melon Farming with a Msword Therefore, I feel that Everything else would have to get Nerfed, or Msword Prices Need to come down, Btw, Don't make this a flame War, it's just a suggestion
I believe that if you could buy Nstars then the price of Nstars in the user markets may become unstable for there will be more Nstars on the server if one chooses not to spend the Nstars on a tool. Now if you could buy an eff7 with usd? That would be different. And to take into consideration each Nstar adv. price is roughly 360$ (roughly) so... 360x1500=540,000 At 5k/Usd a tool would be 108$
I haven't been on in a month due to some embarassing actions I have made, but holy wuhwhsjdq thats crazy, but you get my point?
The introduction of nstars was created as a vote incentive; voting gets more users via bumping up the server's advertisement on minecraft server lists, more users means more supporters for the server, or that's how the theory goes for the big picture. The server receives enough support that it is far more important that people vote to keep our server at or near the top of the lists, therefore I disagree with being able to buy nstars with money because it defeats the whole vote incentive that this particular economy was introduced to stimulate.
If this was ever to be added, I think the price would be so stupidly high that it wouldn't be worth it. I'd suggest just voting/buying stars in game. If you really want to donate to get them easier then donate for yourself/other players to get the money for stars. Personally, I don't think this would help anything very much.
I know, Lol, this isn't coming from me, Just what I hear, Getting opinions , Please keep adding to the poll ,
It would just decrease the worth of stars.. and you would have to vote for even longer to afford one..
However on a more serious note there are three ways I can see this going if it were passed. 1. No one/very few people purchase the donation. 2. Many people purchase the donation inflating nstar tools making them worth less. Now this isn't exactly a bad thing due to the deflation they are experiencing (last time I checked I havn't played in some time.), however due to inflated tools what they are used for would be sold much more like melons and ores. When there are more of them the server would likely make them sell cheaper to fight the inflation. In this case everyone loses. 3. The price of nstar tools would increase so that the amount of tools stays the same (ex. 1500 nstars for a msword to 2000). In this case nstars will be inflated by having them worth less and having more of them.
