I believe the blocks are not on /sell because the end is pvp, and it creates a user market and reason for people to go to the end (risk = reward stuff).

Popped chorus fruit I don't understand though.

Yes, but all those blocks can be made from popped chorus fruit. And popped chorus fruit is smelted chorus fruit, which is sellable. Endstone bricks are made from end stone, which, too, is sellable.

Endstone brick should be the same as endstone.
Popped chorus fruit should be the same as chorus fruit.
Purpur blocks should match netherbrick prices.

I think purpur blocks should be a bit more than netherbrick tbh, I mean you make them out of chorus fruit.
Chorus fruit and nether rack are completely different prices, I think purpur should be more.

You can make them out of chorus fruit, but nobody does or will. It is the same situation; both are relatively common blocks found in a pvp area with little risk of death.

You can also make granite from 2 diorite and 2 quartz, but we aren't going to increase the price because of it.

Ok, so chorus fruit is $4. As some consider $4 per chorus fruit low, maybe make popped chorus fruit $6, seeing as smelted items usually gain in value. Make popped chorus fruit the same price, $4.

Purpur blocks are 4 popped chorus fruits giving 4 blocks. Therefore, I suggest the price to be the same as for popped chorus fruit, $6 per block. (Without smelt buff: $4) per block.
(Yes, you can find purpur blocks occurring as part of end buildings, but destroying a building is basically the same as harvesting naturally occurring chorus plants. Also end buildings are not extremely common to make a difference.)

Purpur slabs are 3 purpur blocks giving 6 slabs, therefore I suggest ($6*3)/6=$3 per. (Without smelt buff: ($4*3)/6=$2) per.

Purpur pillars are 2 purpur slabs, therefore I suggest $3*2=$6 per. (Without smelt smelt buff: $2*2=$4) per.

Purpur stairs are 6 purpur blocks giving 4 stairs, therefore I suggest ($6*6)/4=$9 per. (Without smelt buff: ($4*6)/4=$6) per.

Endstone bricks are 4 endstone blocks giving 4 endstone bricks, therefore the price should be the same as endstone, $0.10 per.

Purpur blocks aren't as common as granite.

    Pretty much this ^
Sure popped fruit can be made into purpur.
But smelted nrack can be made into nbrick.

    Pretty similar to me

What other goods increase in value from smelting?
I'll refer you to this denied suggestion. Is this thread a masquerade for a price bump?
    https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/price-change-chorus-fruit.165870/

Destroying a build is much different from harvesting natural chorus. It has a guaranteed drop (each block is a fruit with your pricing), whereas the plants drops vary in number. Plants are spread apart and take longer to harvest. Purpur can be harvested much faster due to their proximity to one another, super breaker allowing instant breaking, and eff7s allowing instant breaking.

They are common enough that no one is going to make them from chorus fruit. I have several shulker boxes full of various purpur block types (this is after throwing quite a bit into a disposal sign because no one wants to buy it); I speak from experience, they are common.
Is the purpose of this price increase to set a higher price floor for a commodity few desire?

Sorry, but I really have to disagree here.

In normal Minecraft items can be considered 'more valuable' after smelting because you invested both fuel and especially time. I see absolutely no reason why /smeltall should increase the value of an inventory full of chorus fruits by 50% ($4608). If we make them sellable they should have the same value as normal chorus fruits.

Maybe because you have to spend money to buy the feature? Features aren't cheap. @314

However, item values are based on how much you can earn per hour as an absolute maximum¹. This would essentially raise the maximum price of chorus fruits by 50%, even though their value was originally reduced because they earned too much money per hour.

¹ Which is good - imagine a way to earn 100k with a feature and 10k without. Few users with this ability can be pretty dangerous.

Not my intention, but I am a supporter of increasing the price. But the thread was not made with the following intention.
Well, some time ago, cobblestone was worth $0.05 and stone was worth $0.10.
While it is enough to break just one block to harvest multiple fruits at once, unlike buildings. A speed potion will make it extremely easy to get from plant to plant.
Purpur block are, in my opinion, ugly. That is why nobody wants them. And when nobody wants something, the supply turns into a surplus, because nothing is being used. And so obviously you have started to collect quite.

But seeing as @Nicit6 told me that popped chorus fruit won't increase in value, I'll edit my post.

Bump, there is basically no player market on these items. We need to sell them somewhere.
