How would the taking out iron swords help? For a kitless game its one thing but the other 7/8ths of the games will be absolutely dominated by kits.

 

+1, as a kit user, still seems like it would make sg more appealing to me.

 

It's not too hard to make a bow as long as you know where the crafting table is. But otherwise +1.

And may I ask, how would these "noobs" be able to kill good pvp'ers?

 

I'm just saying, it would give a more "survival" feel if you have to craft some things for your self. Its not hard

 

And typing /kit miq is survival also?

Look, ECC sgs are not normal. Kits are brought for income of the server and EcoDollars. Real survival games you must forge for yourself. Like in kitless matches. They added iron ingots recently so whats even the point of keeping iron swords in chests? None

 

+1 i also find it difficult to craft bows in no kit sgs and this would be good for users who do not own kits

 

So while someone can type /kit miq, everyone without kits has to find two iron ingots and a stick then go back to spawn to craft it? If that is your idea of a fun game, then well... I don't even know what to say to that.

Edit: Also, your original point was to add a more "survival like" way of playing. Now you are concerned about the server's income.

First of all, I just pointed out what kits do. Second, taking out IRON swords will force players to make their own. Therefore putting the survival in survival games. It also puts a little adventure in there. Third, no. I am a huge PVPer and if it weren't for others using kits on this server, I would have none.

 

Yes, taking out iron swords will force people to make their own. This also makes them harder to get then simply taking an iron sword out of a chest. If this was a non-kit server, your suggestion would be interesting. Personally I don't think I'd love it but that is irrelevant. Iron swords only do a small amount of damage compared to the big kits like miq and cc which take 2 seconds of typing to get. Now you want to take out iron swords and make it even harder to achieve them meaning that there will be less iron swords compared to kits. That means that the gap between non-donor weapons and kits will be even larger then it already is. All I really see out of your suggestion is a try to make it even easier for you to win sg's against the already weak opponents.

Now your suggestion is off topic and 99.99% won't happen so I will refrain from discussing it anymore.
