    When you're jumping on water, you make bubbles. Make this a trail, if it isn't already. I can't tell if the wake or splash trail is like this, but it seems like the splash trail is the particle of rain hitting the ground. Wake I have no idea what it is, but if it's not bubbles, we need to have a bubble trail. Nobody seems to have wake anyways, and I haven't been able to catch someone who does (backtothepast), so I'm just going to suggest it anyways.

    Edit: Wake is probably the particles that come from the movement of a boat, I see that now...

    Isn't the portal just a line though? I thought they were different because the ender trail I suggested has the particles more spread out, not in a line following me.

    Still the same trail, just different parameters. (which is in the config of the plugin, so if you want that changed you should make a suggestion on that)

    Bubbles can only appear in water. At least, that was the problem I ran into when I wrote a trails plugin almost a year ago.

    Have you ever seen water bubbles on dry land? Sounds like intended behaviour to me. Just like how the particles near bedrock can't be spawned anywhere else.
