Minecraft Name: TaylorBros22 Suggestion: Change the colour of "/ch trv" (trivia chat channel) from mod blue to a different colour. Perhaps a pink/purple? Reason: The colour is exactly the same as Mod Blue and takes the attention away from the username of a Blue mod. For example, currently, it looks like this when speaking in chat: The point of having a different colour for a moderators name was to make it stand out, however having a chat channel that is exactly the same colour, in my opinion, defeats the object Any Other Information: I am open to suggestions about the colour of the chat, but obviously not one that is already in use. Not really. Mod Blue is supposed to stand out among the rest, right now, it doesn't really stand out. It blends in.
Was this the same color as it was before? I thought it was... different. Can we change it back to that color? But I agree, its too much blue.
I think the old trivia chat color was dev blue, &9. I think we should use that instead, so mods still have a unique color. +1
It is the same as mod blue, which should stand out it any channel, not just the main ones. By blending in it is hard to distinguish who actually said what. Thanks for your input though
Sorry, I really like the current color and it stands out quite a lot. I know it may bother you though because its your rank color =P At this point I'm going to be leaving the chat color as it is. Edit: On the other hand, I'll leave this open for discussion, but not sure I'll be convinced...
This is a general problem for staff, it rips our eyes off of chat, and kinda makes us focus on trivia if we want to or not. I'd say something like resident colour would be good
&f - Global &e - Local, Mining &a - VIP &b - Auction &7 - Trade &c - Alerts &6 - Staff Given that these chat colors are taken, and most others are too hard to decipher in chat, I think we should use &9 Blue as it's not too hard to read and isn't used for anything else (other than the dev rank, which we rarely see ingame).
I personally think it should be &9. I like the mod color as well, and it is easy to read, but it is harder to see warnings and messages from mods unless they are a red mod. Kinda defeats the purpose of having the mods be a color that is noticeable.
