Again sorry if you'd lose something, but with this suggestion you'd still have this. Look at the bigger picture of what your kits do. Plus it isn't just me that has my opinion many users who spent hundreds on ktis agree that kits are a problem and something needs to be done. Just because I wouldn't lose anything that doesn't invalidate my opinion.
Am I the only one who finds this comment ridiculously self-contradicting? Jeez, the only possible outcome for Kitters will be to play in SG without non-kitters, ever: either because non-kitters have their own arena, or because non-kitters just don't play SG anymore period. The choice is not whether to give kitters an (unfair) advantage or not: the choice is whether to save SG or not.
The problem you run into is that many users (including myself) would receive over $150 in giftcards. And, since, every card has to be done manually, Phys would have an unbelievable load to try and get every kit user coupons. It's just physically impossible. Plus, in the TOS of donating, each user agrees thatchan without a refund. As for this, there are plenty of other ways to make money. Heck, there's even methods that can outmake SG, and are consistent. So, in reality, you could just change to a different method. That's what I did. As for the suggestion, my thoughts have pretty much been expressed already. +1.
