For me, autojoin auction and VIP, but not trivia.

I'd rather auction just gets removed altogether. It's spammy when enabled by default, and ignored when disabled by default. Sure, people could leave the chat. But I'd rather chat just stays clean to begin with.
And what does the auction system actually contribute to the economy that trade chat and the market place don't already? (Beyond staffmembers selling nonsense for insane prices.)

This is a completely different suggestion.

 

I don't get the point of autojoin ever. If I want back into a channel, I'll just join it myself. I'd personally rather have any autojoin disabled for all chats.

If you use macro's you can auto ignore trivia chat

+1 as you shouldnt need to use something to block something that should be changed by default

 

I was just thinking about submitting a suggestion regarding this and found this one. Hard to believe that this has not at least been put under consideration.
This is an economy server... auction chat should be a default as an aid to support economy activities. Trivia has nothing to do with the economy and is usually extremely spam ridden that should not be a default on chat.
I hope that these either get switched or that none of these would be default on.

I believe you should join all channels by default. VIP(if donator), Trivia, Auction, Global, Local, SG, End, (I assume it exists) Nether, and Mining

 

All channels will be auto join on server restarts now.
Also fixed a ton of chat bugs that I found in our configs. Should be live next restart.
