Well then I don't see an issue given that if that's true, it wouldn't really interfere with hacking complaints.
The trail itself will display at the ground level. Not at the chest/head level where the MC particles are spawned.
Commenting on the part about users possibly abusing this while having auto crits.. Yes this could be confusing, but a user with auto crits is still able to be found by their mini hops which cause the crits. As for the suggestion... It doesn't really affect anything at all gameplay wise. I'd personally prefer all trails to be disabled in SG, and I will be posting a suggestion on this shortly if there isn't already one posted.
